Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Irrigation Supervisor to lead our irrigation operations with efficiency, expertise, and strong leadership. This role requires a deep understanding of irrigation systems and their components, the ability to manage teams effectively, and a commitment to building excellent client relationships. As an Irrigation Supervisor, you will uphold Webb’s reputation for professionalism and exceptional workmanship while fostering a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crew Management: Plan and oversee daily schedules for irrigation crews, ensuring consistent workflow and productivity.
  • Client & Team Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for Account Managers, setting expectations and providing updates.
  • Team Development: Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to foster growth and development, including conducting performance and pay reviews.
  • Irrigation Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems, including addressing breaks, malfunctions, and seasonal tasks like winterization.
  • Equipment Management: Operate and maintain irrigation tools and equipment.
  • Site Assessment: Evaluate properties for irrigation improvements and propose solutions.
  • Issue Reporting: Document and report equipment malfunctions and site concerns promptly.
  • Physical Work: Work outdoors in various weather conditions and handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Team Leadership: Promote teamwork and a positive work culture within the team.
  • Technology: Passionate about new irrigation technology, sustainable water practices and stewardship of the Wood River Valley.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management abilities and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Solid knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to manage inventory and oversee resources effectively.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
  • Backflow Certification (preferred).
