Nursery Production Assistant

The Nursery Production Assistant will be based out of our Bellevue Nursery. This position is full-time seasonal with the potential to go on lay-off during the winter months. The Nursery Production Assistant will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of our Bellevue Nursery. This position requires a hands-on leader who can ensure the efficient production and maintenance of high-quality plant material. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of horticultural practices and be able to effectively manage a team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Print and manage plant tags.
• Tag plants accurately
• Estimate project needs and timelines
• Organize and Oversee Construction Project Demands
• Providing Purchase Orders as needed
• Liaison with Contractors and provide assistance with Trees & Shrubs
• Inventory Control and Organization

Requirements and Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of plants and horticultural materials.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Must be efficient in the use of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Self-motivated with a strong ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Bi-Lingual a plus
